Arriving by car

Via Autobahn A3:

Take the Dinslaken Süd / Oberhausen-Schmachtendorf exit and follow the "Höhenweg" for about 3.8 km. Take a left turn into Königshardter Strasse and then after about 100 m turn right into Dohlenstrasse.

Via Autobahn A2:

Take the Oberhausen-Königshardt exit and follow Fernewaldstrasse / Hartmannstrasse (signposted in the direction of Königshardt / Sterkrade-Nord) for about 1.5 km. Turn right into Königshardter Strasse and then right again after about 100 m into Dohlenstrasse.

Arriving by public transportation

Take the CE 92, CE 94 or 956 bus from Oberhausen HBF (main station) or Oberhausen-Sterkrade station and get off at the stop for Falkestrasse. Continue on foot for about 5 minutes. Electronic timetable information can be found for Rhein-Ruhr (VRR) here: www.vrr.de/en/fahrplanauskunft/index.html

Arriving by plane

Dusseldorf international airport is just 30 minutes away. This is now the third largest airport in Germany and offers numerous connections to airports both within and outside Europe. Information on flight schedules can be found here: www.duesseldorf-international.de.

To get here take the airport shuttle to reach the airport station. There you catch a regional express to reach Oberhausen Station or Oberhausen-Sterkrade Station. From there on you may want to use public transportation as is explained above.

Owing to the growth in air routes, small airports are also increasingly used. The airports of Niederrhein (www.flughafen-niederrhein.de/ ) and Dortmund (www.flughafen-dortmund.de) are also nearby.
